Measuring Success
How do you measure your success in life? Is it how much money you make? Maybe it's if you're happy with what you're doing. Perhaps it's if you feel you're making a difference. For me, it's a little of one and two, but oddly, my view of success is a little bit different.
It's strange, but quite often I find myself looking at me through the eyes of my yet to exist children and wondering how they'll view me. More specifically, I find the ultimate success is to be the dad with the coolest job on the bring your dad to school day.
Weird, I know.
Maybe it's the kid in me that just doesn't want to let go. I want to make sure that kid thinks I'm as cool as my real kids.
